What happened after SxSW 2006?

To continue the post from Cam, who borrowed the idea from Tim I would like to add my city list to the 2006 list of “What cities did I stay in for at least a night?”.

I thought it was a good post to continue as the silly season wraps up and we are all still warming up for the new year (I haven’t made it into my first post-holiday day at work yet at least).

I like the fact that we all share Austin, TX, USA and in the true Aussie fashion, if you are heading overseas you might as well make it worthwhile and stay out there and see a bit more.

Places I’ve visited in 2006 for at least one night, in chronological order: (some Aussie weekend trips omitted as I can’t remember them all)

  1. Hawks Nest, NSW, Australia
  2. Melbourne, VIC, Australia
  3. Austin, TX, USA
  4. Vancouver, BC, Canada
  5. Hobart, TAS, Australia
  6. Melbourne, VIC, Australia
  7. Mudgee, NSW, Australia
  8. Jindabyne, NSW, Australia
  9. Havana, Cuba
  10. Mexico City, Mexico
  11. Cancun, Mexico
  12. Tulum, Mexico
  13. Los Angeles, CA, USA
  14. Hobart, TAS, Australia
  15. Bangkok, Thailand
  16. Batemans Bay, NSW, Australia
  17. Melbourne, VIC, Australia

Reading this list over it seems as if the start of 2006 was actually a few years ago. Hope everyone had a good New Year!
